Jacki Bils

Hello Nicole and thank you for alerting us to that mistake. I will get that fixed.

Oddmall at the John S. Knight Center is located in downtown Akron, not Hudson.

Jacki Bils

Hello Cindy, we are glad that our calendar helps you. If you are an artist, check out www.Artshowreviews.com. There is a lot of helpful information there that will help you, too.

Cindy Schmidt

I really appreciate having your website available! I've been branching out from NYS art shows to other states in the past few years, and I often refer to the information listed on ArtFairCalendar. Thanks!

Hello Vicki, I don't have any information on the Folk Art Festival in Sharonville, OH. I don't think we ever had that show listed on our calendar either. I can't find any information about it when I google the show. You will need to contact the show to see if they will hold it again.
Good luck.

vicki neltner

Are y'all not doing the Folk Art Festival in Sharonville, Ohio anymore?

Jacki Bils

Hello Geri, that little asterisk has a meaning to me. It means I have updated that show. I also post a notice saying that our calendar is not updated beyond a certain point - usually about 6 months out. The asterisk lets me know which shows I still need to get dates for.

That little asterisk seems to catch everybody's eye.

Geri Coletta

Why do some of the events have an * after the dates, and some don't?

Jacki Bils

Hello Janice, I am sorry I had to erase most of your message. We don't use this space to post art show information. It also looked like you were posting a craft fair. We don't list craft fairs unless the are high end juried craftmen shows. You can take a look at our information and see if your show fits by copying and pasting the information into your browser at the following link:

Good luck with your show.

Hello Jim. Please accept my apologies for spending almost an hour on the road and discovering the show dates were wrong. I try very hard to get the correct dates. However, I am looking for show dates about 6 months or more out from the show. Many times I have to find the dates myself as I don't always get a reply from the show. I am so sorry the date was wrong. I hope you were able to find something else fun to do in Medina on that day.

Jim Weiss

We drove all the way down to Medina from Westlake today to see the Medina Art in the Park, just to find out that it is tomorrow, July 21st. You have it listed as July 20th.

Jacki Bils

Hello Flash, The dates you have are for last years event. It is sometimes very hard to get the correct dates for some shows when shows don't have a website or a currently updated website. If you are connected with the show please contact me with an email and I will make corrections with the dates. Otherwise, those are the dates I found and I have to go by those. Eventually, if we we are unable to find the correct dates or are unable to get anybody from the show to contact us the shows are removed from our calendar. Our goal is to have a correctly updated calendar for our art patrons.

THE DATES are wrong for the Canton Art Show! .it isn't until APRIL 27,28, 29

Hello Sleepyjns, I see you left your comment on the Ohio page and the Calendar is undated through January there. I have been busy trying to get the calendar up to date through to May. Some pages are not up to date yet because the shows have not posted their 2013 dates yet. All updated shows will have an asterisk next to the date. I also have a statement on each page that says the shows are not updated beyond a certain point. Please check back often as I am busy searching for the 2013 dates for many shows.

Could you please update this for the Christmas Arts & Craft shows???

Jacki Bilsborrow

Thank you so much Gretchen for sending us the update for the Arts & Crafts festival at Lourdes university in Sylvania. When I updated the show 6 months ago it was listed as taking place. We don't always find out about last minute changes. We really appreciate the information because we try very hard to keep our calendar accurate.

Jacki Bilsborrow

Hello Anita, yes it looks like the Riverfront Arts Festival will be held as scheduled. We don't have any control over a show's website, however, we do try to make sure the show dates are correct.

Columbus 6 th annual art fest 9/28/12 and 9/29/12 link, leads to 2011 information. Is there an Art Show this year?

Gretchen Grana

There is no longer the Arts & Crafts festival at Lourdes university in Sylvania Ohio. Your site shows the date as September 9th

Jacki Bilsborrow

Hello Cass. I am not totally sure I understand what you are talking about. If you are interested in having your listing on the Art Fair Calendar, just cut and paste the following link into your browser:

Follow the directions. Remember, your show must be a juried show and we ask that you link back to us. That will help to keep bringing Art Fair Patrons to some of the best art shows in the country.

Jacki Bilsborrow

JD, wow, let me apologize to you for that huge mistake. I have no idea how that happened. Thank you so much for alerting me to this. I am correcting that right now.

J. D.

The below Art Fair is actually in Oregon, not Cincinnati, Ohio. We spent all day trying to find it and it sure was frustrating!

August 18 & 19*
Silverton Fine Arts Festival
Coolidge–McClaine Park, at the intersection of Coolidge and Charles Street
Sponsored by RMAS, LLC
Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm
140 Exhibitors

Cass Barth

I just tried linking the Miamisburg Starving Artists Fall Arts and Crafts Festival to your link but it looks just like the blue combo of letters symbols and words instead of the red in your instructions for adding our show listing to your Ohio area of the website. Please advise.

Print called "Hudson Village Green" by Kinley Shogren...signed and numbered (88/300) and it has a certificate for it receiving the "Presidents Award". The words "The Presidents Award 1987, Westfield Companies". The Print is dated 1983. Posted by: Bill Lomas | October 28, 2011 at 04:57 PM
Hello Bill, I too suggest an art museum especially the Cleveland Museum of Art.According to the web, Shogren was in their May Show abt 1952. If you have already Googled him, some art & auction houses (maybe Wolfe downtown Cleveland, OH?) you might get information another way. I assume you requested your information already from the seller? If the title relates to the city of Hudson, (OH) you might want to check with the Mayor or Chamber of Commerce to see if they can help.
You state it has a "President's Award from the Westfield Companies. You might want to contact Westfield - their corporate offices are in Westfield, OH south of Medina. Didn't check his bio, but it could very easily be that the artist worked there, had a relative or friend there, or they could give you a lead re value, someone interested in buying it, or other valuable information. One painting I took time to check seems to have been up for auction a long time ago for $400-600. Good luck in your search and thanks for supporting our artists.
