I was so happy to find your list of art fairs in Ohio. I am a jewelry artist from Texas recently relocated to Cincinnati. Do you have or can someone direct me to a list or some way of contacting the event organizers so that I can send photos in time for the summer and fall juried art shows. Thank so much for the help.

Kristy Carnes did you find out how to contact the various shows to get into the shows I am in the same boat!
Posted by: Carly | March 05, 2008 at 05:05 PM
I would like to know how to apply and be accepted for the jury of each event. Also to know of requirements per location. Some have mentioned contacting the Chamber of Commerce in each location. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your assistance.

As webmaster and publisher here I just saw your comments. There are lots of places to find art fairs. Since you are already on this site I suggest you look over the list of events, find the ones that are of interest to you, "google" their names and visit their websites. This is a pretty select list of art fairs but far from exhaustive.
Other sources: Sunshine Artist magazine, FestivalNetworkOnline, Crafts Report, Art Fair SourceBook...

Please read the post above, Karen. Additionally, the Chamber of Commerce is a good source. Also, each state has an arts council (I believe) and many of them list art fairs in their states and some even publish a list. I know Ohio does.
Also, for a little more info on this topic you can buy my ebook listed at the top of the page. It has lots of tips for getting started and is a helpful primer.
